DirecTV Mexico/Latin America

DirectTV began moving its programming to a new satellite at 95W on October 2016. This new satellite has a more focused beam that covers mostly Latin America. Vessels outside of this area WILL NO LONGER receive DirecTV programming! Vessels in the western Carribean and Central America will need to switch to a provider that covers that area. Antennas


Most 2-foot antennas, including KVH-TV6-M7 & G6 and SeaTel ST24 can be converted and reprogrammed to track the new satellite. Smaller 18-inch antennas such as the M5 and G4 will also work in most areas in Mexico and slightly farther south. A special LNB is required, which we can supply and install for most brands.
